Staff Product Designer - Commerce for Linktree

About the Role

We are seeking a Staff Product Designer - Commerce to join Linktree, a company evolving from a simple link-in-bio product to a comprehensive control center for digital presence. As a Staff Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how creators, entrepreneurs, and businesses engage with their audiences and monetize their offerings through our platform. This is a unique opportunity to lead the design of commerce experiences that empower users to sell products, services, and more directly through Linktree.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design of commerce features across both first-party (1P) and third-party (3P) surfaces, as well as paid audience experiences.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Research teams to translate user needs into clear, end-to-end experiences.
• Define design patterns for setup, merchandising, discovery, conversion, and management of products and services.
• Shape supporting systems around commerce, including Media Kits and optimization tools, to enhance user understanding of performance.
• Drive alignment across teams to ensure coherence in commerce experiences.
• Provide hands-on design leadership to ensure high-quality experiences are delivered across audience-facing surfaces and business management tools.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience, with a focus on complex, cross-functional systems.
• Proven ability to design scalable UX architecture and systems.
• Strong experience with commerce, marketplace, or workflow-heavy products.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and create intuitive product experiences.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence product strategy and execution.
• A portfolio showcasing exceptional design craft and end-to-end thinking.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for commerce platforms, including products, services, and subscriptions.
• Familiarity with affiliate and partnership ecosystems.
• Experience with AI-powered commerce solutions.
