About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer for Embedded Systems to join our innovative team at Boeing. As a new joiner, you will play a critical role in developing and certifying safe, reliable, and innovative aircraft systems and software.

What You'll Do

• Develop solutions for complex system engineering tasks in the domain of avionic software and design.
• Describe architecture requirements and software specifications and communicate them to development teams when necessary.
• Explore new technologies and development approaches and assess their feasibility in your field of work.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and compliance with industry standards.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience in RTCA DO-178(B/C) Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification.
• Familiarity with standard development practices and tools (e.g., Git, Git Flow).
• 2+ years of related work experience in software development life cycles and agile software engineering best practices.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, and JavaScript.

Nice to Have

• Experience with model-based development tools such as MATLAB Simulink.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
