Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our innovative team at Anduril Industries. This remote Site Reliability Engineer position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that transforms military capabilities. You will be part of a dynamic team that supports both the Counter Intrusion and Air Defense teams, working with advanced systems powered by Lattice OS, an AI-driven operating system.

What You’ll Do

• Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure with providers such as AWS and Azure, utilizing Kubernetes (EKS).
• Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to define and execute internal and external deployments.
• Promote SRE best practices in system resilience, performance monitoring, and high availability.
• Design, develop, and deliver solutions using infrastructure as code with tools like Terraform and Python.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, enhancing the developer experience.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external customers to identify technical solutions to their problems.
• Improve operational capabilities by conducting root cause analysis and creating tooling for large-scale deployments.
• Lead initiatives to build scalable, sustainable mechanisms for delivering to customers at the pace of business growth.

Requirements

• 6+ years of engineering experience, with a focus on cloud technologies and application development.
• Deep knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem, including Docker, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure) and software languages such as Go, Python, Rust, or C++.
• Proven ability to perform data-driven root cause analysis on complex systems.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Computer Science degree or equivalent.

Nice to Have

• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters of hundreds of nodes.
• Knowledge of performance improvement techniques, metrics, and alerting.
• Familiarity with KubeVirt, qemu, virtualization, and hypervisor technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
