Senior QA Architect - Remote Role for Innovative Tech Company

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior QA Architect to join our innovative team at Fluxon. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere in Portugal or Poland. As a Senior QA Architect, you will define and build QA processes that ensure the highest standards of quality across various applications. Your expertise will help us navigate complex challenges, making a significant impact on our projects.

What You'll Do

• Define and evolve the end-to-end QA strategy and processes for entire products, ensuring world-class quality standards.
• Plan and perform exploratory and manual testing for complex features, enhancing the user experience.
• Champion quality across multi-disciplined teams, identifying systematic quality gaps and building processes to address them.
• Document and report quality metrics and bug tracking, providing clear visibility into project health for the product team and clients.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Technical Project Managers to define acceptance criteria and manage release approvals.
• Lead investigations into complex quality issues, driving resolutions with engineering and product teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in testing complex web, mobile, and API-based applications.
• 2+ years of experience as a sole QA lead on projects, capable of building testing strategies from scratch.
• Strong manual testing skills with a keen eye for bugs, understanding user experience as well as code.
• Proficient in client-server architecture and modern engineering stacks, with experience using DevTools and API clients like Postman.
• Understanding of how manual testing integrates into a modern CI/CD pipeline.
• Upper-Intermediate level of written and spoken English.

• Experience with risk-based testing methodologies.
• Ability to articulate technical risks and quality tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive personality with a strong desire to improve software building processes.
