Apprentice Support Engineer - International HPC (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for an Apprentice Support Engineer to join our International HPC team. In this role, you will work closely with our L3 support team to diagnose and resolve complex issues related to High Performance Computing (HPC) systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge technology environment while working remotely.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the L3 support team to diagnose and provide solutions for reported issues.
• Follow up on open cases with R&D to ensure timely resolution of incidents.
• Summarize acquired knowledge and skills for transmission to other teams (L2 or R&D).
• Engage in on-site client missions to understand customer contexts and provide expertise.
• Handle critical incidents reported by the international L2 HPC team.
• Propose solutions for complex issues and follow up with R&D.
• Participate in the development of training materials and support documentation.
• Contribute ideas to enhance the support organization and processes.

Requirements

• Strong customer relationship skills.
• Motivated to learn and grow in the field of HPC.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of hardware is a plus.
• Familiarity with Linux is a plus.
• Strong writing and synthesis skills.
• Ability to work independently and with rigor.
• Currently pursuing a BAC+5 degree.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in customer support or technical support.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems.
• Interest in High Performance Computing technologies.
