Senior Developer - Manufacturing Systems (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Developer - Manufacturing Systems (Remote) to join our innovative team at VSV Wins, Inc. In this role, you will support and enhance plant-floor systems in a manufacturing environment, focusing on application development, PLC data integration, and real-time data acquisition to improve operational efficiency and system performance.

What You'll Do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using .NET technologies including VB.NET, ADO.NET, and ASP.NET.
• Integrate and manage PLC data acquisition systems to ensure seamless data flow.
• Utilize Wonderware and similar tools for manufacturing system support.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to optimize production systems.
• Support and troubleshoot plant-floor applications and data systems to maintain reliability.
• Ensure the performance and reliability of manufacturing IT infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in VB.NET, ADO.NET, and ASP.NET.
• Experience with PLC data acquisition systems.
• Hands-on experience with Wonderware.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kepware or similar PLC connectivity tools.
• Familiarity with classic ASP.
• Experience with Zebra handheld devices/scanners.
• Exposure to industrial system integrations and legacy systems.
