Senior Unity Engineer - Remote Gaming Development

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Unity Engineer to join our dynamic team at Azumo. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in Brazil, contributing to the development of immersive gaming experiences and interactive 3D applications. As a key player in our Gaming & Real-time Development team, you will collaborate with artists, game designers, and backend engineers to ensure the high-performance delivery of gameplay features.

What You'll Do

• Architect, develop, and optimize gameplay features using Unity and C#.
• Translate requirements into clean and efficient code, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Construct the foundational engine on which the game will run.
• Create prototypes of gameplay ideas and features to test and validate concepts.
• Develop unit tests and validation procedures to assure quality throughout the production lifecycle.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, documenting specifications as necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience in full lifecycle game development, particularly with Unity.
• Hands-on experience with C#, Unity package, and mobile platforms (iOS/Android).
• Familiarity with JavaScript and Visual Scripting is a plus.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest gaming trends, techniques, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of APIs and libraries.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A BS degree in Computer Science or Games Technology.
• Professional English proficiency (B2/C1).
