Senior UI/​UX Designer - Strategic Evolution of the KaufDA App

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer remote to join our dynamic team at Bonial. As a leading digital advertising partner, we are transforming the retail landscape and looking for a talented individual to help shape the strategic evolution of the KaufDA app. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing user experiences for millions of users across Germany and France.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end design projects from discovery to final implementation, ensuring high-quality outcomes as a Senior UI/UX Designer remote.
• Design intuitive, scalable, and visually compelling interfaces for the KaufDA app using Figma.
• Drive product discovery processes, facilitate workshops, and actively contribute to defining product strategy.
• Translate research insights, user feedback, and data into clear design solutions and product improvements.
• Own and evolve components within our design system, ensuring scalability and long-term consistency.
• Act as a design quality advocate, ensuring excellence and coherence across touchpoints.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in UI/UX design for digital products (web and/or app), with proven ownership of complex, end-to-end design projects.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to connect user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including scalable component systems and design system governance.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design, research methodologies, and data-informed iteration.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence presenting and defending design decisions.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1–C2), with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-driven design tools.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards in design.
