About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Technical Writer to join our team remotely at TransPerfect. In this role, you will support the creation and management of high-quality documentation for complex AI and data-driven projects. As a Senior Technical Writer, you will collaborate with researchers, developers, and cross-functional teams to produce clear, accurate, and accessible technical content, ensuring effective communication across the data annotation and AI development ecosystem.

What You'll Do

  • Communicate complex technical information clearly and accurately.
  • Create and maintain various documentation types tailored for different audiences.
  • Serve as a communication bridge within the HITL team.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage projects involving multiple junior writers, providing guidance and support.
  • Lead complex programs from planning to delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams across different offices and time zones to streamline documentation processes.
  • Continuously improve documentation processes and workflows to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of experience in technical writing or instructional design.
  • Strong understanding of task definition and instructional design principles.
  • Experience with HTML, Python, data analysis, Markdown, or Git.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into clear documentation.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with AI technologies and data-driven projects.
  • Previous experience leading technical writing teams.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies.
