Maintenance Technician - Remote Opportunities

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team at CAF. This position offers an exciting opportunity to ensure the operational efficiency of our production facilities in the railway construction sector. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the performance, reliability, and operational continuity of our industrial installations.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including robots, welding machines, painting booths, and automation systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot production equipment and automated systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Maintain energy distribution networks (water, gas) and ensure their operational readiness.
• Supervise external interventions, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Contribute to service performance by installing, adjusting, and upgrading equipment as needed.
• Respond to urgent repair requests swiftly and effectively.
• Document technical specifications and maintain accurate records in the maintenance management system (GMAO).
• Participate in improving procedures and optimizing equipment performance.

Requirements

• Degree in Maintenance, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance in a similar role.
• Strong technical skills in mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and low-voltage electricity.
• Proficient in analyzing automated systems and understanding industrial processes.
• Knowledge of the railway sector or heating systems is a plus.
• Able to work effectively in a demanding team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Fluency in English or German is appreciated.
