About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to join our team at Nium, the leader in real-time global payments. As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product vision and strategy for our card payments solutions. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about driving product initiatives and enhancing customer experiences in the financial services sector. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to our global mission.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the product lifecycle by actively driving the product and respective features, from requirements through development to go-to-market.
  • Contribute to the work of the product function by sharing the product vision and strategy, reflecting this in delivered initiatives.
  • Analyze client needs and translate these requirements into product features, unlocking value at the earliest.
  • Design, implement, and maintain project timelines across multiple internal and external departments.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to translate requirements into launchable product features.
  • Represent customer needs during discussions with stakeholders at various stages of the lifecycle.
  • Execute the feature launch roll-out plan alongside commercial teams, ensuring training is set up and targets are reached.
  • Track the effectiveness of launched solutions and identify potential product refinements.

Requirements

  • Solid previous product experience in technology and financial services, with a focus on payments.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SPSS, Modeler, or other projection tools.
  • Ability to commercialize technical products and product features.
  • Strong customer focus and a client-centric approach to deliver effective solutions.
  • Strong technical skills and business acumen, proven ability to execute on technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to condense complex concepts into non-technical language.
  • Based in Malta or open to relocation (full relocation package provided).

Nice to Have

  • Experience in agile product development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with card payment systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working in a global team environment.
