Senior Systems Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will support advanced system design, software development, and network solutions. As a Senior Systems Engineer remote, your deep technical expertise will be crucial in supporting mission-critical systems, including the Distributed Common Ground-Surface System (DCGS) for the U.S. Marine Corps.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and network architectures.
• Support and enhance DCGS operations, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on system architecture and engineering efforts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across software, hardware, and network domains.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (computer science focus preferred).
• CISSP certification is required.
• One or more of the following certifications: PSEM, CSDP, Microsoft, RHCP, CCNP, CCDP, VCP, Cloud certifications, CKA, or DCA.
• 5 years of experience supporting DCGS (USMC) system architecture, software development, and networking.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud technologies and architectures.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
