Senior System Administrator - Microsoft Azure & M365 Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior System Administrator to join our dynamic team at DL Remote. This Senior System Administrator remote position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a hybrid environment. You will be responsible for the installation, administration, and monitoring of server, network, and security solutions, while providing exceptional support to our existing clients both remotely and on-site.

What You'll Do

• Implement, manage, and monitor server, network, and security solutions.
• Provide comprehensive support to existing clients through remote and on-site assistance.
• Plan and execute IT projects independently.
• Deliver 2nd and 3rd level support, particularly in the Microsoft environment.
• Actively assist the helpdesk with ticket management and system documentation.
• Ensure thorough documentation of IT infrastructures and systems.

Requirements

• Completed IT education (HTL or academic degree preferred) or equivalent professional experience.
• Practical experience as a System Engineer in system and network administration or related IT fields.
• Strong knowledge of complex firewall and network systems.
• Expertise in Windows Client/Server operating systems and Microsoft 365, with initial experience in Azure-based solutions.
• Fluent in German and proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud technologies and services.
• Certifications in Microsoft Azure or related fields.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.
