Product Owner - All-in-One Platform (Remote)

About the Role

We're hiring a Product Owner to join our team at Employment Hero. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our All-in-One Platform (AIOP) while ensuring our Employment Operating System scales seamlessly across global markets. As a Product Owner, you'll play a key role in driving platform excellence and innovation.

What You'll Do

• Lead the delivery for your platform squad, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and cross-functional coordination.
• Define clear scope, epics, and user stories for new platform capabilities and technical enhancements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop scalable solutions across our Ruby on Rails and React/Angular stack.
• Ensure platform reliability by maintaining 99.9% uptime and high-performance standards for all microservices.
• Streamline the "All-in-One" experience for customers, facilitating smooth transitions between HR, Payroll, and Benefits.
• Leverage AI and user research to prioritize the platform roadmap based on measurable impact.
• Drive platform quality by ensuring initiatives include robust observability, monitoring, and security considerations.
• Collaborate with multiple product teams to unblock delivery and enhance platform work outcomes.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience as a Product Owner in SaaS, specifically within platform, shared services, or infrastructure-adjacent areas.
• Technical literacy with RESTful APIs, microservices, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD.
• Proven ability to align diverse cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
• Strong analytical skills with a high bar for quality in PRDs and data-driven prioritization.
• Execution focus with a track record of simplifying complex technical problems into actionable phases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
