About the Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Software Engineer remote to join our dynamic team at Meazure Learning. In this role, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the careers of millions of test-takers and reshape the education technology landscape. As a Senior Software Engineer remote, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain our WebRTC video solutions, focusing on building a reliable, low-latency, and highly scalable processing engine.
  • Take ownership of features and work independently on assigned tasks, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical design discussions.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills within the team.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the team’s domain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of software development experience, with proven experience in front or back-end software development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Solid understanding of multiple programming languages, frameworks, and software development principles.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Java, JavaScript/React, RabbitMQ, Ruby on Rails, Go, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
  • Familiarity with SOLID principles and team collaboration tools.
