Senior Software Engineer - Remote Opportunity at Deel

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Deel, a leading payroll and HR platform that operates globally. As a Senior Software Engineer remote, you will be part of a dynamic team that is transforming how global talent connects with world-class companies. Your expertise will help us tackle complex challenges that impact millions of people's working lives.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Frontend, Back-End, and Full-Stack Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA to develop robust new features and APIs.
• Participate in product planning from discovery to deployment, ensuring your input is valued at all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Design, code, test, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Microsoft technologies, including C#/.NET and .NET Core.
• Create RESTful APIs and ensure our customers receive a white-glove experience with our products.
• Continuously improve our industry-leading products and quickly resolve any bugs.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of C#/.NET, .NET Core, and Entity Framework.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong understanding of SOLID Principles and database management, particularly with MS-SQL.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Experience in front-end development and willingness to learn Vue.js at a production level.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Vue.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with memory caching tools like Redis.
• Experience building and working with Microservices and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of the FinTech industry.
