About the Role

Join Upway as a Senior Software Engineer to help reshape the future of e-mobility. This Senior Software Engineer remote position focuses on developing the technology that powers our marketplace for refurbished e-bikes across Europe and the United States. You will be part of a small, high-performing team that directly influences our tech strategy and business growth. What You'll Do

• Understand complex business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and develop robust, scalable systems that support our operations in sourcing, refurbishment, and e-commerce.
• Take full ownership of projects from conception to production, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to shape Upway's technology and processes.
• Work on advanced pricing algorithms and comprehensive databases, blending engineering rigor with analytical thinking.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on delivering impactful solutions.
• Solid experience with modern technologies, including Typescript (NestJS + React), PostgreSQL, and GCP.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a business-driven mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously and take accountability for your projects.
• Professional English proficiency is mandatory.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker, Vercel, Shopify, Git, Turborepo, Metabase, and Auth0.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
