Senior Network Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. What You'll Do

• Install and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and wireless systems.
• Work with HPE/Aruba switches and wireless technologies to ensure seamless connectivity.
• Develop LAN/WAN strategies and evaluate hardware and software products.
• Provide specialized technical expertise in resolving complex network infrastructure problems.
• Conduct after-hours systems support, installation, and maintenance as required.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and stakeholders regarding project status and risks.
• Author technical documentation, including network diagrams and operational procedures.
• Perform risk analysis to identify IT security issues and develop remediation plans.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on Cisco technologies.
• Strong understanding of Cisco ISE and NAC.
• Experience with SD-WAN implementations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Available for after-hours support and on-call duties.

Nice to Have

• Certifications in Cisco (CCNA, CCNP) or equivalent.
• Experience with network security protocols and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of cloud networking solutions.
