Senior FPGA Designer - Remote Opportunity with Relocation

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior FPGA Designer to join our innovative RF systems design team. This Senior FPGA Designer remote position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while enjoying a tax-free compensation package and comprehensive relocation support. As a Senior FPGA Designer, you will focus on developing and testing complex VHDL/Verilog projects in FPGAs, contributing to state-of-the-art software solutions.

What You'll Do

• Take responsibility for the development and testing of complex VHDL/Verilog projects in FPGAs.
• Participate in hardware architecture design and perform early trade-off studies with evaluation boards and platforms.
• Develop and verify digital signal processing algorithms using Python or MATLAB.
• Design, simulate, code, and verify software-defined radio projects in FPGAs and DSPs for wideband RF signal processing applications.
• Optimize FPGA designs for timing and area.
• Engage in hardware bring-up and troubleshooting activities.
• Work with RF test equipment such as Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, and Network Analyzers.
• Develop automatic tests for software-defined radio devices.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or higher in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven track record in VHDL or Verilog programming.
• Proficiency in Xilinx Vivado, Altera/Intel Quartus, and Modelsim.
• Experience with Linux (as a user), bash, TCL, and Python scripting.
• 10+ years of relevant hands-on experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good level of spoken and written English (upper-intermediate).
