Project Engineer (Electrical) - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Project Engineer (Electrical) remote to join our team at Lemartec Corporation, a MasTec company. In this role, you will provide essential technical engineering information to ensure that our projects adhere to all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions. As a Project Engineer (Electrical) remote, you will have the opportunity to travel across the United States, working on various infrastructure projects that will enhance your career and technical skills.

What You'll Do

• Provide technical support to the Project Manager and Craft Supervisors, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
• Prepare field design change requisitions and 'as built' drawings as required.
• Plan and develop construction work packages for civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Support the Construction Manager by analyzing and reporting daily progress of subcontractors.
• Facilitate technical approvals by engineers and expedite design development according to the engineering schedule.
• Coordinate craft production and release work in a timely manner to meet project schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the electrical discipline, preferably in construction.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications for construction projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Document Control Systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data center projects.
• Knowledge of codes applicable to infrastructure construction.
• Special language skills based on business needs.
