About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (AI Platform Performance) to join our dynamic team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of AI systems, transforming them into highly scalable and reliable platforms. This is a unique opportunity to shape the technical direction of our AI initiatives from day one, with a competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $250,000, plus equity and additional benefits.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and development of AI platform performance, reliability, and observability tools.
  • Engage in backend development using Python and FastAPI.
  • Own the data layer utilizing PostgreSQL and Supabase.
  • Manage platform infrastructure with AWS, CI/CD, and Terraform.
  • Oversee observability using tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in backend development with Python (FastAPI preferred).
  • Deep understanding of SQL/PostgreSQL.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing production CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong background in automated testing and reliability-focused engineering.
  • Hands-on expertise in observability (logs, metrics, traces).
  • Experience in building and scaling systems in fast-paced environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure management.
  • Knowledge of messaging/telephony systems.
  • Familiarity with software development best practices.
