HSE Prevention Officer - Petrochemicals (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking an HSE Prevention Officer to join our team at Boccard, focusing on the petrochemicals sector. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while being directly involved in site operations. As an HSE Prevention Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety compliance and promoting a culture of health and safety on-site.

What You'll Do

• Lead safety prevention initiatives on-site to prevent accidents and incidents.
• Participate in safety coordination meetings and site meetings to understand project timelines and intervention nature.
• Advise site management on operational procedures and documentation.
• Welcome new employees and introduce them to quality, safety, and environmental processes.
• Conduct periodic meetings to raise awareness of upcoming work risks and site observations.
• Monitor personnel qualifications and medical visits.
• Analyze workplace accidents and incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Act as the main contact for the Client Prevention Service, maintaining Boccard's safety image.
• Ensure the proper dissemination, display, classification, and archiving of site safety data.

Requirements

• Higher education in a relevant field with prior experience in HSE within the petrochemical industry.
• Familiarity with certifications such as MASE.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to convey sensitive messages effectively.
• Team-oriented with a rigorous approach to decision-making.
• Excellent teaching skills to ensure compliance and safety awareness.

Nice to Have

• Experience in leading safety training sessions.
• Knowledge of additional safety certifications.
