Internship – Procurement Category Management (Remote)

About the Role

We are excited to offer an Internship in Procurement Category Management at Flix, where you will gain valuable insights into strategic purchasing activities. This internship is a full-time position (40 hours per week) for a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, spending 3 days per week in our Munich office and the rest remotely. What You'll Do

• Support the Procurement Category Management Team in managing strategic supplier relationships and driving sourcing initiatives focused on value creation and cost efficiency.
• Assist with tender and inquiry processes, maintaining supplier and contract data.
• Conduct market research, analyze offers, and negotiate with suppliers in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Create reports and conduct analyses on supplier contracts and spending.
• Contribute to the optimization and development of purchasing and supplier management solutions.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Work closely with Category Managers on initiatives aimed at driving cost efficiencies.

Requirements

• Enrolled student or recent graduate in Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Ideally, some practical experience in procurement or supplier management.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proactive and goal-driven personality with a team-oriented mindset.
• High reliability and enthusiasm for the role.
