What You'll Do

• Code, test, debug, implement, and document moderately complex programs as part of our development team.
• Analyze, design, and write specifications and requirements for software development.
• Evaluate existing systems and programs, assisting project managers in task assignments.
• Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects.
• Develop test plans and participate in quality assurance activities, including code reviews.
• Lead a small sub-team of developers, delegating responsibilities effectively.
• Participate in production support activities, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Engage in remote work opportunities, collaborating with a diverse team across the United States.

Requirements

• 6+ years of applications development and batch programming experience using Unix, Linux, C, and SQL (Oracle or other databases).
• Preferred expertise in Claims, Pharmacy point of sale, and EDI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for designing, creating, and testing programs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently and as a leader within a team environment.

• Experience with the full software development life cycle.
