Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - AI Focus

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (AI Focus) remote to join our dynamic team at CloudDevs. In this role, you will ensure the quality and functionality of software products through both manual and automated testing processes. You will collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, develop comprehensive test plans, and execute testing strategies that guarantee high-quality deliverables. What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive manual and automated testing to identify bugs and ensure software quality.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium.
• Conduct API testing to validate backend services and integrations.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineering teams to understand feature requirements and translate them into detailed test plans.
• Execute regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to verify new features and fixes.
• Document test results, report issues, and track defect resolution progress.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and review meetings to provide quality insights.
• Continuously improve testing processes and automation frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage.

Requirements

• Strong manual or automation testing skills, with proven experience in a senior QA role.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or Nightwatch.js.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and relational database queries.
• Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices.
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly articulate testing processes and results.
• Experience working in distributed teams and collaborating across different time zones.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant certifications or training in QA/testing is a plus.
