What You'll Do

• Contribute to the development of cloud-native products and services within our Kubernetes product ecosystem.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
• Support cloud infrastructure deployments using Platform9 products, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Engage in learning opportunities to enhance your understanding of cloud-native technologies and distributed systems.
• Participate in team meetings and share insights to drive innovation and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• Excellent programming skills in a major programming language; Python or Golang is preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in software development or related internships.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and a willingness to learn and build products in the cloud computing and virtualization space.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems is essential.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with OpenStack/DevStack.
• Experience in cloud-native application development.
