Senior QA Tester - Remote Position at Block Labs

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior QA Tester to join our dynamic team at Block Labs. As a Senior QA Tester, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of our gaming platform and crypto payment products. This is a hands-on manual testing role that offers clear growth opportunities within our expanding quality team.

What You'll Do

• Execute manual test cases across web and mobile platforms, covering functional, regression, and smoke testing scenarios.
• Run structured regression suites before production releases, logging defects with clear reproduction steps and severity classification.
• Verify bug fixes and validate that resolved issues do not introduce new regressions in related areas.
• Collaborate with QA Leads and developers to clarify requirements, flag ambiguities, and ensure test coverage aligns with acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and update test case documentation, keeping test suites current as features evolve.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, providing testing status updates and raising blockers early.
• Support exploratory testing efforts to uncover edge cases and usability issues beyond scripted test plans.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in manual software testing, ideally within gaming platforms, fintech, or payments.
• Comfortable working across web and mobile platforms.
• Familiarity with cross-browser and cross-device testing (e.g., BrowserStack) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
• Ability to write clear, structured bug reports with steps to reproduce and supporting evidence.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as TestRail, Testmo, or similar is a plus.
• Basic familiarity with developer tools (browser DevTools, API testing with Postman or similar).
• Experience with real-time gaming platforms or digital entertainment products is preferred.
