Senior QA Engineer (Automation) - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer (Automation) to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in India. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our applications through automation testing. You will collaborate with a global agile team to develop, maintain, and execute test scripts, enhancing our testing frameworks and contributing to our CI/CD pipelines.

What You'll Do

• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts for Angular UI, REST APIs, and backend systems.
• Build and enhance test frameworks for E2E, regression, smoke, integration, and performance testing.
• Participate in requirement clarification, test planning, and reporting with developers and stakeholders.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git/Bitbucket), and test management tools (TestRail).
• Perform research to implement effective automation solutions for required functionality.

Requirements

• Strong automation skills with tools such as Selenium, Webdriver.io, and Cucumber.js.
• Experience in API & performance testing, particularly with REST API automation using Postman and Node.js.
• Domain expertise in telecom network layers (Layer 0–2, DWDM, STS/Sonet).
• Proficient in distributed systems and mission-critical environments.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitLab.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as Angular 2+, HTML, CSS, and D3.js.
• Experience with backend frameworks like Spring Data/Security/MVC.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
