Senior Python Developer - Remote Opportunity

What You'll Do

• Lead a development pod, ensuring delivery of scalable, high-quality software as a Senior Python Developer remote.
• Architect and build robust backend systems that support our platform's growth.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Leadership on roadmap execution.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence within the team.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices to maintain code quality.
• Manage technical debt and system performance to ensure optimal operations.
• Support production systems and resolve critical issues promptly.
• Contribute to hiring and onboarding processes to expand our talented team.
• (Plus) If interested, contribute to frontend development using NextJS/jQuery.

Requirements

• 0.5 to 5 years of experience in Python and Django/DRF.
• Strong expertise in REST API design and architecture.
• Solid experience with MySQL, Git, CI/CD, and AWS.
• Full-stack exposure or a good understanding of frontend technologies.
• Prior team leadership experience is a plus.
• Proven delivery of multiple complex projects in an agile environment.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
