Head of Packet.ai - Remote Leadership Role in AI Infrastructure

About the Role

We are seeking a Head of Packet.ai to join our innovative team at hosted.ai. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to lead a cutting-edge AI infrastructure initiative, ensuring that powerful GPU compute is accessible to all developers. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of GPU cloud services, driving product strategy, and managing operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Develop and own the product roadmap for Packet.ai, focusing on AI workloads that benefit from on-demand GPU compute.
• Identify high-value segments such as token factories and LLM inference serving, prioritizing platform capabilities accordingly.
• Evaluate trade-offs between dedicated and shared GPU access, integrating these insights into product positioning.
• Lead a dedicated cross-functional team across engineering, product, support, and commercial functions.
• Set OKRs and ensure alignment with the hosted.ai C-suite.
• Drive pricing strategy and revenue targets, ensuring a clear value proposition for AI/ML engineering buyers.
• Foster a culture of ownership and technical rigor within your team.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or general management within AI, ML, or cloud infrastructure.
• Proven track record of building successful businesses from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of GPU infrastructure and AI workloads.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in demand generation and pipeline management.

Nice to Have

• Direct experience with GPU-as-a-Service or neocloud platforms.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid GPU orchestration.
• Background in developer tooling or infrastructure-as-code.
