Senior Process Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our team at Sherwin-Williams, a global leader in paint and coating solutions. This remote opportunity allows you to drive long-term process improvements, support capital projects, and lead the introduction of new technologies in a high-tech manufacturing environment. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing processes, ensuring safety, and achieving engineering excellence.

What You'll Do

• Lead process design, improvement initiatives, and engineering support for capital projects.
• Become a subject matter expert in process chemistry, equipment design, and operational philosophy.
• Support troubleshooting and contribute expertise in systematic production issues.
• Drive the introduction of new products and technologies.
• Lead or participate in Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop long-term concepts for process improvements and ideas for future capital projects.
• Create process models, PFDs, P&IDs, simulations, and technical packages.
• Support safety programs such as PHA, PSI, PSSR, and MOC.
• Train teams on process chemistry, equipment operation, and process safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent vocational education (completed or ongoing).
• 5+ years of experience in hazardous manufacturing environments.
• Good understanding of relevant regulations (PSSR, LOLER, PUWER, HASAW 1974, SEVESO/COMAH).
• Knowledge of ATEX and process safety management.
• Experience with commissioning, MOC, and CMMS systems.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.
• Advanced computer and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills.
