About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our team at Sibelco, where you will play a pivotal role in advancing innovative carbon solutions. This Senior Process Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that contribute to sustainability and efficiency in industrial processes.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate laboratory scale results and provide feedback to research programs.
• Develop and optimize production processes, focusing on low and negative CO2 solutions.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to scale up processes from laboratory to industrial scale.
• Design new processes or modify existing ones to enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Conduct research to develop cost-effective solutions for our customers.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Chemistry, or Geology.
• Proven experience in scaling up high-pressure solid-liquid-gas reactor processes.
• Strong team-oriented mindset with adaptability and flexibility.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• A passion for introducing innovative low and negative CO2 process solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience in an industrial environment or engineering firms.
• Knowledge of mineral processing and project management.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices in engineering.
