Senior PHP Developer - Magento Specialist (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior PHP Developer with Magento expertise to join our dynamic team at Miratech. This remote Senior PHP Developer position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative eCommerce solutions for global clients. You will play a crucial role in developing, customizing, and optimizing Magento-based online stores, ensuring high availability and performance.

What You'll Do

• Develop, customize, and maintain Magento-based eCommerce websites, focusing on product management and checkout processes.
• Enhance features for online stores, including payment integrations and third-party API connections.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented PHP code to support robust application development.
• Design and optimize MySQL databases and queries for efficient data handling.
• Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve functionality.
• Optimize application performance to ensure high availability and responsiveness.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with PHP, particularly in core/standard PHP development.
• Hands-on experience with Magento and a proven track record of working with eCommerce platforms.
• Solid understanding of MySQL database design and query optimization.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end development.
• Proficiency with GitHub and experience working with Gitflow branching strategy.
• Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles.
