About the Role

As a Lead Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping Agoda's strategic direction through your analytical expertise.

What You'll Do

• Translate internal briefs into analytical projects, refining initial briefs and asking the right questions to drive impactful insights.
• Analyze data from multiple large-scale data warehouses, presenting statistically robust analyses to a wide range of business stakeholders.
• Proactively identify opportunities for growth within supply and the broader business landscape.
• Drive new analytical initiatives aimed at improving organizational efficiency and shaping Agoda's supply strategy.
• Automate manual operational processes, showcasing time savings gained through modernization.

Requirements

• 2-5+ years of experience as an Analyst, with a strong background in analytics, data science, or business intelligence.
• Advanced working knowledge of SQL and experience with data visualization tools, preferably Tableau.
• Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel and Python (or R).
• Bachelor’s degree in a business or quantitative field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, economics).
• Understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques, including hypothesis testing and regression analysis.

Nice to Have

• MBA or Master's degree in a quantitative subject.
• Program management certifications (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2).
• Experience in the Asian market or travel industry.
