Senior PCB Design Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior PCB Design Engineer remote to join our innovative team at Raytheon. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology while collaborating with a talented group of engineers. As a Senior PCB Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of printed circuit board (PCB) designs, from conception to manufacturing.

What You'll Do

• Lead PCB designs, ensuring they meet all specifications and requirements.
• Create library parts, perform schematic capture, and manage component placement and routing.
• Utilize Mentor Graphics toolset to document designs and generate Gerber/ODB++ files.
• Interface daily with electrical, mechanical, and producibility engineering teams to ensure design integrity.
• Provide technical solutions to complex PCB design challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields with at least eight years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Xpedition or similar PCB design tools.
• Experience in designing complex analog, digital, RF, or mixed technology PCBs.
• Familiarity with multi-layer designs and high-speed routing techniques.
• Active DoD security clearance is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience with HDI technology and DDR circuitry.
• Mechanical design understanding to interpret complex mechanical drawings.
• Skills in Mentor's Library Management System.
