What You'll Do

• Design and plan network communication systems, providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
• Troubleshoot and isolate network faults and failures in a LAN/WAN environment.
• Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and software interconnections, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Evaluate and report on new communication technologies to enhance network capabilities.
• Collaborate with team members and work independently to ensure mission success.
• Travel up to 30% of the time for project needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with at least 2 years of relevant experience for Level 2 or 5+ years for Level 3.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with an adjudicated full-scope polygraph at the time of application.
• Security+ certification is mandatory.
• Experience with CISCO routers, switches, and firewall hardware/software.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience in firewall hardware and software management.
• Experience designing additions to large networks.
