Social Media Manager - Tier-1 Event Strategy (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Social Media Manager (Remote) to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote and will focus on Tier-1 event social strategy across a global events portfolio. As a Social Media Manager, you will partner closely with the Tier-1 events social lead to drive end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of social programs.

What You'll Do

• Own and execute social media strategy for Tier-1 third-party events across pre-event, live, and post-event phases.
• Manage social channels, stakeholder communications, content planning, and performance reporting.
• Partner with global events teams, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop scalable social assets and templates.
• Advocate for a social-first approach in event planning, influencing content development and storytelling.
• Collaborate with marketing, brand, PR, content, paid media, and communications teams to ensure alignment and amplification.
• Support social listening, moderation, employee advocacy, and regional editorial planning.
• Provide flexible support to broader social strategy initiatives outside of event cycles.
• Contribute to scaling best practices and driving consistency across social programs.

Requirements

• 4-6+ years of experience in social media, with strong exposure to event marketing (B2B preferred).
• Proven ability to independently manage complex workstreams with minimal oversight.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize across multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong copywriting abilities.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
