Senior Manager, IT Procurement & Vendor Management - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager, IT Procurement & Vendor Management to join our team at American Family Insurance. This remote position offers the opportunity to develop and execute enterprise technology sourcing strategies that deliver value, manage risk, and support our strategic goals. You will lead a team responsible for managing approximately $300M in annual IT spend across a complex supplier ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Lead full lifecycle sourcing plans and guide complex technology negotiations.
• Build partnerships with business and technology leaders to maximize value from American Family's technology investments.
• Oversee a team of procurement and vendor management professionals executing full lifecycle sourcing strategies.
• Develop category strategies, sourcing pipelines, negotiation approaches, and vendor governance practices.
• Use strong business acumen and communication skills to build trusted relationships across Technology, Finance, Legal, and Security.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading sourcing initiatives within large enterprise organizations managing substantial technology spend.
• Demonstrated experience in creating meaningful data analysis and metrics to support business needs.
• Extensive knowledge of vendor contracts and commercial/legal terms and conditions.
• Experience sourcing and negotiating technology solutions including SaaS platforms and cloud services.
• Strong communication and influencing skills across varying leadership levels.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills related to complex vendor matters.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop total cost of ownership models.
