Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at S3 Technologies Inc. As a Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will not only maintain but also optimize and secure IT environments for our clients, making a real impact on their operations.

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of client IT environments, ensuring continuous functionality and addressing potential challenges.
• Identify and implement improvements to optimize performance, security, and reliability of client systems.
• Maintain documentation on configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Prioritize issues based on urgency and impact, ensuring rapid resolution of critical incidents.
• Collaborate effectively with client IT teams to understand their infrastructure needs and provide seamless integration of S3 services.
• Participate in on-call rotations and manage critical incidents with the support of our dedicated systems administrators.

Requirements

• DEC / AEC in IT or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience as a systems administrator.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft 365 / Exchange, LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, and Wi-Fi.
• Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in Cisco, Dell, and Fortinet technologies.
• Excellent command of French and good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Strong problem-solving skills in both hardware and software.
• Excellent adaptability and client-oriented mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Managed Service Providers (MSP).
• Knowledge of PowerShell.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Azure, Fortinet, etc.).
