Senior Golang Developer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Golang Developer to join our team remotely. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a challenging technical environment and enjoys making impactful decisions. As a Senior Golang Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance backend services in Go.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Go, ensuring high availability and resilience.
• Work with event-driven systems using Kafka and gRPC to enhance existing codebases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features that have a real impact on the product.
• Make architectural decisions and contribute to the continuous improvement of the tech stack, tools, and best practices.
• Enhance observability and reliability in production, resolving incidents and optimizing performance.
• Analyze and improve existing codebases, providing technical insights and proposals for enhancements.

Requirements

• Solid experience in Go for building high-performance backend services.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and distributed systems, particularly with Kafka.
• Experience with integrating and evolving acquired codebases, prioritizing robustness and scalability.
• Familiarity with back-office APIs and internal tooling.
• Advanced skills in observability, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting in production environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Scala or other programming languages.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and microservices architecture.

What We Offer

• Competitive salary range of €50,000 - €55,000.
