About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Global Mobility Specialist to join our team at Tokyo Electron US. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to manage global mobility matters for our expatriate population. You will play a crucial role in supporting US hires and ensuring smooth relocation processes for our employees.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) in global mobility, overseeing expatriate and inpatriate employee management.
  • Coordinate HR and global mobility activities, ensuring compliance with immigration requirements and local employment regulations.
  • Manage the entire global mobility lifecycle, from assignment coordination to documentation and vendor management.
  • Consult with employees and business leaders regarding expatriate programs, providing insights on taxation implications and compliance.
  • Lead various global mobility projects and initiatives, enhancing processes and improving employee experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an in-house global mobility program, focusing on expatriate management.
  • Strong understanding of US immigration and business travel visa processes.
  • Experience with global mobility data management and mobility platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult at all levels.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Equus mobility platforms.
  • Japanese language proficiency.
  • Advanced knowledge of geography and geopolitical developments.
