About the Role

Infinity Ward is seeking a talented and passionate Senior Gameplay Engineer to join our dynamic team. This Senior Gameplay Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to work with a leading studio renowned for its award-winning titles, including the Call of Duty® franchise. You'll collaborate with design and content teams to elevate our gameplay systems to new heights of AAA fun and visual fidelity.

What You'll Do

• Independently contribute to the design of our gameplay systems.
• Develop, modify, and debug gameplay software using C/C++.
• Deploy, optimize, and test gameplay software on PC and console platforms.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as art, design, audio, and QA.
• Proactively identify issues and fix bugs while balancing immediate needs with long-term scalability.

Requirements

• 12+ years of gameplay development experience.
• At least one shipped product as a senior gameplay engineer.
• Fluency in 3D math related to game programming.
• Strong design sensibilities and outstanding communication skills.
• Proficient in C++ programming and practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AAA play-control logic, especially in FPS titles.
• Familiarity with modern animation techniques.
• Knowledge of game physics simulation.
• Experience with networked game logic.
• Understanding of game AI.
