We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer remote to join our innovative team at Workera. What You'll Do

• Architect and own the backend systems that power our AI-native platform, primarily built on Elixir/Phoenix.
• Collaborate with small, autonomous project teams to take full ownership of features from scoping to rollout.
• Utilize AI tools and agentic coding to enhance productivity and contribute to the codebase.
• Lead projects that involve complex backend systems, ensuring robustness and performance.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable value to global organizations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong backend specialization.
• Practical experience in building scalable backend systems, ideally in Elixir/Phoenix/PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with AI tools to enhance productivity.
• Strong user orientation with the ability to optimize user flows.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with frontend technologies like React.
• Familiarity with Docker, AWS, and Terraform.
• Previous experience in a fully remote, async team environment.
