Senior Frontend Engineer - React (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer - React to join our team at Easyship. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere while you contribute to our mission of making global eCommerce borderless. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our customer-facing platform, leveraging your expertise in React.js and TypeScript to build scalable systems.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level frontend architectures using React.js and TypeScript.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping, debugging, and code generation.
• Establish and govern advanced React patterns and best practices to ensure reusability and minimize technical debt.
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, and backend architects to translate business goals into scalable technical roadmaps.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on architecture, performance, and TypeScript principles.
• Drive code quality through rigorous architectural and code reviews.
• Optimize performance and scalability across devices and network conditions.
• Champion the adoption of emerging patterns and continuously improve engineering processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years in frontend development, building sophisticated SPAs.
• 5+ years with React.js (hooks, context API, advanced state management).
• 5+ years with TypeScript at enterprise scale.
• Strong command of HTML5, ES6+, and Vite.
• Solid grasp of RESTful APIs, async programming, and Git workflows.
• Experience with React Testing Library and Vitest.
• Strong communicator who can align cross-functional teams and articulate complex technical concepts.
• Experience with Next.js / Remix, MUI, AngularJS migration, design systems, Tailwind CSS, TanStack Query, and open-source contributions is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with server components and micro-frontends.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
