Senior Database Administrator - Remote Role in Crypto Sector

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator to join our team in the crypto sector. This remote role offers the opportunity to work with a regulated US-based CEX while being based in Singapore, Malaysia, or the UAE. What You'll Do

• Provide daily business support and ensure a 4x capacity guarantee for global and local financial-level storage components, maintaining SLA < = 99.99%, RTO < = 5 minutes, and RPO = 0.
• Identify risks and govern hidden dangers related to global and local station financial-level storage components, including MySQL and Redis.
• Manage the storage component size version and security patch upgrades, ensuring smooth business upgrades and effective emergency rollbacks.
• Plan versions for storage components including MySQL, Redis, TiDB, Doris, ES, and MongoDB, while identifying software and architecture risks.
• Continuously iterate on storage component standards and implement new management platforms.
• Design and develop daily database requirements for the database management platform using Golang.

Requirements

• Over 8 years of full-time DBA experience in top companies within the financial and internet industries, with practical experience in massive databases (clusters > 800, data > TB level).
• Proficient in MySQL and Redis system principles and architecture design, as well as AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience with distributed database principles, specifically TiDB, Doris, or ES, with data > 0.5PB.
• Strong execution ability and team collaboration skills, ensuring high-quality delivery of business requirements.
• Experience in Golang backend development is preferred.
