Senior FinTech Engineer - Remote Options Available

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior FinTech Engineer to join our innovative team at House of Creators. This Senior FinTech Engineer remote position offers you the opportunity to work on next-generation financial platforms across Germany and Europe. You will play a crucial role in developing secure, scalable, and high-performance financial systems that meet the needs of our clients.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop financial systems, APIs, and payment platforms.
• Build scalable backend services for transaction processing and data handling.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations such as BaFin, PSD2, and GDPR.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement security best practices for sensitive financial data.
• Integrate third-party financial services and APIs into our systems.
• Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in software engineering or fintech roles.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Go.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot or Node.js.
• Knowledge of payment systems, banking APIs, or trading platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of security, encryption, and data protection standards.
• Experience with microservices architecture is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
