Senior Finance Associate - Remote Position at Nextail

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Associate to join our team at Nextail. This Senior Finance Associate remote position is pivotal in driving financial operations and reporting within our innovative company. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI solutions in the fashion industry, contributing to our mission of transforming merchandising practices.

What You'll Do

• Own the full monthly close cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Maintain and update rolling forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning.
• Prepare internal and external financial reports, supporting the annual accounts process.
• Act as the primary point of contact for auditors and manage the audit process.
• Record and review accounting entries in Holded, ensuring compliance with Spanish GAAP (PGC).
• Manage the full invoice-to-cash cycle, including client billing and collections.
• Monitor treasury positions and prepare cash flow forecasts to maintain financial health.
• Contribute to strategic finance projects and ad hoc finance support as the business evolves.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, audit processes, and GAAP compliance.
• Experience with financial software, preferably Holded or similar.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate effectively with leadership.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the fashion or retail industry.
• Familiarity with AI/ML applications in finance.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
