Senior Data & MLOps Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

What You'll Do

• Develop and improve MLOps frameworks and practices to enhance model deployment.
• Build and maintain ETL and ML pipelines using GCP and orchestration tools.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated model deployment.
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform, Docker, and cloud services.
• Monitor and optimize ML systems for performance and reliability.
• Develop APIs to support data flow and model serving.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system design and operations.
• Improve stability, scalability, and maintainability of ML systems.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, MLOps, or DevOps.
• Strong experience building and orchestrating data and ML pipelines.
• Proficient in Python and SQL, following clean code practices.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, Vertex AI, and GCS.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Terraform.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with dbt and Airflow.
• Familiarity with API development.
• Problem-solving mindset with a practical approach.
