Mid-Level Test Engineer - Cybersecurity Focus

About the Role

Leidos is excited to announce an opening for a Mid-Level Test Engineer remote position within our Intel Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). Join our talented team at the forefront of Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), and Mission Software. This Mid-Level Test Engineer remote role offers a unique opportunity to enhance national security through innovative technology.

What You'll Do

• Perform manual component, integration, system, and end-to-end testing of software applications.
• Develop, write, and execute system-level and integration-level test procedures and reports.
• Evaluate software changes and verify defect corrective actions identified during development and operational use.
• Utilize basic system administration skills and work with physical equipment in a test lab environment.
• Develop test data, define test acceptance criteria, and create methodologies for subsystem interfaces and software modules.
• Collaborate closely with Manual Test, Automation, and framework/infrastructure teams to support regression and system testing.
• Support software configuration management processes related to test artifacts and environments.
• Work collaboratively with Software Development, Systems Engineering, Integration, Deployment, and Sustainment teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least 8 years of related experience.
• Experience testing through a full system development life cycle, including implementing test plans and processes.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with management and technical personnel.
• Experience working with physical equipment in a test lab environment.
• Must possess TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and key management programs.
• Familiarity with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience using automated test tools and programming languages like Java, shell, or Python.
• SAFe Agilist or DevOps certification.
