Vice President, Business Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Join AMETEK Compliance Test Solutions (CTS) as the Vice President, Business Manager in this exciting remote opportunity. As a leader in developing cutting-edge instrumentation and systems for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) emission and immunity testing, your work will drive advancements in crucial testing technologies. You'll play a key role in shaping the future of EMC solutions, ensuring devices meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

What You'll Do

• Manage overall profit & loss (P&L) of the CTS business, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Drive organic revenue growth of 8 - 10% per annum and scale profitability accordingly.
• Reduce working capital through proactive management of inventory and cash collection.
• Improve profitability via Operational Excellence (OPEX) initiatives, including material cost reductions and sustainability projects.
• Oversee business operations to ensure products achieve defined KPIs, including cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Accurately forecast business results and meet operating plan commitments.
• Establish performance measures that foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Attract, retain, and develop a high-performing team to ensure long-term business success.
• Define and execute a new product development (NPD) plan to drive organic growth.
• Develop and execute an annual operating plan (budget) aligned with strategic goals.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or adjacent field of study.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a P&L with annual revenue of CHF 20 million ($25M USD) or greater.
• MBA preferred.
• Multi-site, global business experience highly desired.
• Experience in RF test & measurement, EMI/EMC, or similar technology is a plus.
• Strong financial acumen and related experience is highly desired.
• Demonstrated ability to drive positive change and improve organizational effectiveness.
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence.

• Experience working for a publicly traded company with regulated financial reporting requirements.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing is a plus.
